aRTIST BIO

Jackeline Aguilar is a first generation American with roots in El Salvador. When she was young, animated movies had always fascinated her with its ability to tell stories. The ability to mirror, not only the motion, but the experience and feeling of an atmosphere from a person’s personal perspective through visuals was especially inspiring. As a leap of faith, she started to pursue her love of storytelling and drawing by attending Maryland Institute of College art as an animation major. Despite the uncertainty of being able to attend due to financial reasons or career uncertainty, Jackeline persisted and graduated with the goal to create films and animations that inspire all.
